DESCRIPTION:
When every bike grows up and becomes a motorcycle, it wants to be a Triumph Rocket. There are three versions of the Rocket; the Classic, Roadster, and Touring. Enough with the description, if you don't know anything about this motorcycle then do your research before contacting me... it is not a beginner's bike. However, if you 'do' know something about the 2300cc mega-motorcycle, then we can talk. I've also owned the Classic streetfighter, which doesn't have the Touring's quick-release options (see 'INCLUDED' below).
HISTORY:
Purchased new in 2008 at Triumph of Sarasota FL (Hap's Cycles Sales), and maintained regularly by a Triumph Certified Technician, this Rocket too many service records to print... nothing wrong, just frequent inspections and tune-ups for performance Current mileage is 74,000mi and last full-service was at 72,000mi and it has gone cross country, twice... as well as Alaska, California, and now enjoying the scenic countryside of Central Pennsylvania. Before-and-after every major road trip, there was always proper inspection and appropriate service.
REASON FOR SELLING:
Too busy to ride (work/wife/kids/dogs)... I respect the Rocket too much to leave it alone, so it is my duty as a motorcyclist let it go and give it a new home - better sooner than later, but I'm in no rush to sell. It might be to your advantage to buy it now, before someone else gets it, or if I change my mind and decide to keep it.
